I will be taking more macro shots for this week's assignment, but I thought I would start it out with my little friend Paulie's portrait I took not too long ago. Not a great model as he doesn't have a very long attention span, doesn't stay still very long and tries to chew on the camera... but I was able to sneak in a few good ones. Adrienne

kisses to Mr. Parakeet! Great close up shot - I feel nose to beak with this pretty bird.
Pets can be much harder to do because they don't take direction as well as humans... remember, this assignment is all about natural light falling across the face and having a quiet background.
