Week 3: By The Sea

I took some photos along the Housatonic River between Southbury and Newtown/Sandy Hook (last November) and I thought I'd post a couple. I live in Litchfield County, pretty far from the sea... There were beautiful birds there at the time, swan, mallard ducks, but I spooked them before I could get any photos. There are remains of a huge, old, abandoned brick railroad bridge/embankment along the road (not the bridge seen in the photo, which is relatively old as well), some photos of which I'll post on fotothing. I tried to find ancient debris along the bridge and road to focus on, and found these cool old "Ramsey Guard Rails" to keep people on the road. Wonder if that co. is still around...
