Hi Everyone! These are a couple of the pic's I captured this week. The first one is a shot of my grill. The shadow gives the illusion that the metal is bent. However, this is a flat shelf. I thought the light on some of the raindrops added a dramatic touch. There were some additional shadows within the drops themself.
The second picture was almost a candid picture of two girls rehearsing some sort of skit. Maybe a sun dance since we haven't seen much in the past week? I caught them on my way out to lunch today. They saw me approaching last minute with the camera, however I think I caught a good a scene. Even though their body is pictured, it shows how some shadows are decieving depending on the direction of the light. The closest shadow appears to show her hand close to her side, however looking at her actual stance, her arms are straight out. Pretty interesting I thought. I agree, it is interesting.
I like the shot with the water, this one is differant. Great Imagination.
The grill shot is cool..nice abstract!
I love the grill shot, nice reflection and light.
I'm impressed that you weren't nervous to ask them to take their pic. I almost asked a guy if I could take a picture of his grandaughter as they were playing on the beach until I realized he spoke Italian - no capeshe italian!?
I really like the "bent" effect on the grill. Cool. And I think it is great how it looks like she is stadning there, but the shadow has the arm out. Good capture!
Good going! The drops shot is good for the macro project.
