A Day at the Lake
The photos were taken at Bear Town State Forrest in The Bershires (where I grew up; visiting this weekend). This is also where I discovered to use my color accent option on my camera yesterday! I knew it existed and had tried it before, but with little success. Sometimes (and this is just my opinion!!) it can be quite tacky, but these came our pretty cool I thought. Hard to beleive that is the water in some of the shots. And of course there are more on fotothing. Hope everyone is having a good week so far.

This series of pictures are really fantastic. Your use of B&W w/color is perfect. I love how the purple flowers and blue skies stand out. Did you use Picassa?
WOW! Is that you Adrienne?
Great shots and great inhancements.
I love what you did.
These are absolutely beautiful.
love the "icey" affect on the b&w with blue accents!
The 1st, 3rd and 4th pictures are spectacular. They immediately caught my eye. The reflections and enhancements are breath taking.
I love the enhancements, off to see if I have that on my camera!
This shots are amazing - you should send these into a magazine or some type of publishing firm. Beautiful.....
I like the effect! Stripping all the color but the blue works in this series....
Awesome images! I love how you changed the color on the flowers. I need to learn how to do that. Could you tell me how you did that?
Thats an image you can hang up in your home.
cannons are great right?
Yes, I am so glad I went with the cannon!
To get this effect I set the camera on "color accent". A small box appears in the middle of the screen and at this point you point the camera to the color you wish to accent. You can adjust the values of the color after the color has been picked up. So I aimed at the sky, did some adjustments to the value, and took the pic. Sometimes the effect isnt as great, but I was happy with these.
